On top of everything else, during the days of my arrival, repairs were underway, which greatly complicated the already difficult traffic along the Phuket routes.
Despite the mountainous, repaired roads, I arrived at the hotel before checking in, but the good-natured Thais temporarily provided a different number so that I could swim and change clothes. After all the procedures, I went out in search of the beach and … got lost. He left in the opposite direction from the sea. As it turned out, it was necessary to go to the sea along a long high wall, this was explained to me by a local resident who, in broken Thai-English, was able to explain where to go. By the way, you get used to the peculiar accent of Thais within a couple of days, and initially it is extremely difficult to understand, even if you have not bad knowledge of English, what does this ever-smiling local resident want to tell you about.
