In Ayers Rock is the majestic rock of the same name Ayers Rock (Uluru), which gave the name of this area. This is a huge block of stone with a height of 348 m, having a circumference of 9 km, and a path to the peak 1.6 km long. Australian Aborigines call this rock Uluru and for thousands of years consider it sacred. According to legend, the giants and the snakes Vanambi lived here, the supreme judge over all mortals. Giants created man and gave him Earth.
